Was it just a dream?

 

No.......it wasn't. We've officially returned from our 4th Honeymoon in 2 years. We have already begun counting the days until we return (see the ticker with the airplane on the left!). We're getting ready for a nice long weekend to celebrate Labor Day and then for the start of school next week. Goodbye Summer!

Last Day of Vacation

Another Wonderful Day

Tonight was our last night here. We ate and drank and enjoyed the show (Le Cirque). The entertainment staff really knocked themselves out for this one...fire eaters, acrobats, men on stilts, clowns......you name it.

We missed the ugly storm Gustav that passed through the island while we were here. Some folks on the other side of the island were not as lucky as it claimed several lives due to extensive flooding.

The kids are sad to leave......so are the parents! Knowing we'll be back in November though makes it much easier to leave this time.

We're having a great time.....just 2 more days and we're back to reality!

Dominican Republic

Today is Day 5 in Paradise. It was so nice to wake up on a Monday and not dread starting the work week! It's been more than 14 months since we were here last and things haven't changed a bit........just as beautiful as ever. I wonder how time just stands still here!
