Once again I'm participating in Lisa's Black and White Wednesdays.
I know this is a bit more Antique than it is true Black and White however,
I just love this photo of my precious little girl.

ReplyDeleteTell Anthony to get that guitar ready.... Nick would have a blast playing with him....maybe he will be able to pass on a few things he will be learning at his lessons......one would hope!!!
Have a wonderful day:)

Hi my friend,
ReplyDeleteIt's funny, I've never been a fan of any other type of photo other than color but....I have seen the light.
This picture of Sweetie Pie is gooorrrrgeous. It's just perfect with the antique tint, slightly showing up the muted color of her hair bow and the pattern in the fabric behind her. I love everything about it.
Happy Wednesday to you!
xoxo

All I can say is "Simply Gorgeous"!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Lisa ... love the vintage feel of this. She is a doll!
ReplyDeleteJust gorgeous. Love how the light falls across her sweet little face.
ReplyDeleteThat's a beautiful photo, and a precious child. Wonderful work.
ReplyDeleteI love this photo. The coloring is perfect...great post processing! What a gorgeous family you have, really! Found you through B&W Wed.
ReplyDeleteI also used to wonder what the hoopla was about black and white, but it really makes you focus on the people - and this people is too cute.
ReplyDeletePlease come take photos of my kids, they will never know by the flimsy photographic evidence I have left behind that they were ever under 4 feet tall.

I think you were spot in choosing not to make it the traditional B&W. SP looks precious with pretty little pink bow!

ReplyDeleteGreat Job Dita, love the vintage look of this photo!
ReplyDeleteI love the antique tint you put on it! And is that an older photo or a more recent one? Because I don't see the band-aid!
ReplyDeleteWell of course you love it because it is fabulous!!!! Dita you have an amazing eye...do you even know that? You have such a gift for composition..This part of photography doesn't come easy for me, but you for you...it seems like it's in your blood.

ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous photo Dita darling! Love the shadows and that "get ready to smile" look on her face:))
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend.
Beautiful photo of a sweet and lovely subject, Dita. I like b&w but i've always been more interested in faded colors that mimic the old fading photographs.
ReplyDeleteThere is a delightful timeless feel about this, which always intrigues me especially when everything else is clicking too.
job well done. a beautiful conversion and the touch of color is perfect (not to mention a gorgeous subject).
