My Sweetie Pie insists on preparing a little "appetizer" for herself and her dolly in the mornings while I prepare breakfast for her.
I stopped trying to manage the "crumbing" of her playroom because it's a lost cause.
I just wait until the damage is done and she moves on to the next room

then I dustbust the daylights out of the floor, the couch, the chairs, the stairs, etc.
Apparently when I answered the door for the mailman yesterday morning

she got into her brother's chocolate frosted brownie
(the one he was saving; the one that he moved to the back of the kitchen counter so his father wouldn't eat it)
The only remains of WonderBoy's treasure were those you see on that precious face

and that adorable pajama set from Bali, from the beautiful Swede in my life, Ann-Charlotte.
He wasn't amused when he returned home from camp

and I had to break the news to him.
A hint of a smile never even registered across his face

I am laughing SO hard!!!! (for once) Oh my word...those pics register off the cute-0-meter!
ReplyDeleteYour son and my son would get along! Nick is into hiding food as well. Hmm...I wonder which of them could out-hide the other? lol
And those jammies are so cute they could pass as daywear!
Hugs and blessings,
Robin

ReplyDeleteLove those pj's!
How can he be mad at the cute face! A girl has got to have her chocolate! Have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteHow funny! You cant help but smile! =)
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness!! Poor WB!! You see, to you she's just an adorable little minx, to him she's the bratty little sister that stole his brownie!! Lol! And this, my friend, is where the sibling rivalry begins! But knowing you, I'm sure you'll make it up to him with a trip to Gimmee Jimmy's ;o)
ReplyDeleteThat is absolutely hilarious and adorable. I love the photos. I hope brother isn't still upset.
ReplyDeleteoh so funny. I can't believe he didn't crack a smile. He must have been tired :) Love the pj's and the backpack, and the hello kitty drink bottle AND that hair - she's so cute!
ReplyDeleteSo while you are making breakfast, she is eating, brownies, potato chips and other various snack foods...may I come live with you!
ReplyDeleteWe used to hide food too, my brother thought he had figured out how to keep us from eating his food by spitting on it in front of us, when he left the room I told my other brother to watch me carefully, as I proceeded to "mark" the aforementioned food the same way that had been demonstrated to me. I never mentioned it until after he had ingested it. Gross, but oh so well played.
Hee hee hee.
:-)
Oh my...and I would be too. Hands down your Sweetie wins top prize on the cute-o-meter.
ReplyDeleteBut, I guess more brownies will need to be purchased to appease the injured party.
These are classics my friend. Miss you!
xoxo
Oh my word. She is the cutest little thing. Hands down sweetest : )
ReplyDeleteI can't believe he didn't smile!
